Our Community
With 28 elementary and 7 secondary schools spread across the Nipissing and Parry Sound regions, the ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Community encompasses a variety of municipalities, First Nation Bands, and townships. The ºÚÁÏÉçÇø includes numerous community partners in committees such as ³§·¡´¡°äÌý(Special Education Advisory Committee) and ¹ó±·´¡°äÌý(First Nations Advisory Committee).
Near North schools are integral part of our community, and with the recent introduction of the Community Use of Schools initiative, community groups have increased access to our facilities. Our facilities are often available for rentals by community groups, review the information in the Community Use of Schools pages to help book one of our facilities for your next event!
The ºÚÁÏÉçÇø has partnered with various groups to provide before and after school child care where facilities are available. Visit our Child Care page for information on schools that offer programs and organizations that support subsidies in this area.
